Just Keep Moving!

So I got up again this morning and did my walk with Jamie. I am always so tired at the beginning, but find that in the end I'm really refreshed. Not a bad way to wake up really.
The muscle on the side of my calf has been KILLING me by the end of the walks and I am not sure what's causing it. My first thought is shoes. I ordered a new pair of Nike Shox a week or so ago and I'm hoping they come in soon. They are supposed to be pretty great overall shoes. Will report on that when I know lol.
Heard from My husband today which certainly lifted my day. It's always nice to know he's safe.
My legs are feeling pretty sore from the longer walk yesterday afternoon, so I decided to give it a break and just do the walk this morning , and I will do T-Tapp this evening after work. At least I'm still doing something!
I went and got my hair straightened today, and one of the Ugandan soldiers sat next to me and we chatted for a bit. I've been trying to learn a few words in Swahili since we have contact with these men and women everyday several times a day. They guard the entrances to most of the buildings here. I know I don't always say it just right, but I think they appreciate that I am at least making an effort to say Hello (Bari), I'm good/Fine (Mizoureh), and Thank you (Asante). Anyway, he asked me if I was a Christian, and so that prompted a small discussion, ending in inviting him to church on Sunday. He said he would come, and I really hope he does. Its an experience I never would have anticipated being presented with here in Iraq. I'm thankful that God presented me with someone to share my faith with, and thankful that he also gave me the courage to talk to this man, even if only for a few minutes. It was also a good reminder for me that people of all kinds watch your actions no matter where you are.
